Getting married on our ten year anniversary, with family having flown out from another province and this being the first time both full families were together, it was an extra special day and I needed that extra assistance and support planning our elopement. It was really important to me to find a photographer who would focus on the family aspect as much as the wedding.
Amy is an amazing photographer and I love the way she captured our day. She was also very helpful when it came to looking for referrals for vendors, and with providing suggestions when I needed more assistance with planning. Fingers crossed I don't need to use her services again personally haha but I would 100% recommend her. Especially to other brides looking for an elopement or lowkey wedding who need help figuring out where to start.

"If you're reading this because you're considering using this service, I assure you it'll be worth it. Amy turned what was honestly kind of a nerve wracking experience into a very pleasant one. She walked us through everything and her patience and understanding along the way really put us at ease. Especially during the ceremony. Our officiant, Tammy, was awesome.
We went with the Edmonton Legislature Building for our venue and it was beautiful. Totally recommend it if you're considering something outside. Has some really great spots for photos. Speaking of which, I'm generally not a huge fan of getting my picture taken, but after that day I think my opinion on that has changed lol. Never thought I'd say this but I thoroughly enjoyed the photo shoot. It's actually kinda crazy what a good photographer can do lol. We're so happy with the results.

"Working with Amy was probably the best decision we could have made! Both my husband (yay!) and I work 10-12 hours a day up to 10 days in a row, so planning our elopement was not in the cards. Amy made the process super simple with a variety of venues on her website, a bunch of add on's to pick from, connecting us with an officiant, as well as quick and easy communication.
We went pretty simple with what we chose, a short legalization ceremony, 1 hr of photography, 2 witnesses. Despite the short time frame, we did not, at any point, feel rushed. It was very good vibes all around. Our officiant, Janice was also very lovely!
Neither my husband or I are very good at taking pictures, but we felt super comfortable during the photoshoot and I'm absolutely in love with how they turned out. She also had a great location by the river to take some photos as well, a small hideaway with a great view. The trees at Emily Murphy Park are gorgeous and made for great pictures!
We'll remember the day for forever, it was short and sweet, but equally perfect!
Definitely book your elopement with Amy, we highly recommend her!

Amy provided an extensive list of alternative dates, however when I explained that my partner lives outside of the country and that date is most convenient, Amy offered to assist.

She made all the arrangements with the officiant who did an excellent job, she arranged a bouquet for me, all we had to do was show up on time! I’ll admit I wasn’t sure what to expect for photography but Amy did an amazing job, I was so thrilled with how the photos turned out!
Amy managed to send me a few sample photos only a couple hours after the ceremony which was a nice touch and we had the rest of our photos within a day or so! It was great to have professional photos so quickly and we were able to use them to announce our elopement to friends and family right away!"
